Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair (BGJF) is one of the world’s most renowned and longest celebrated gems and jewelry trade shows in Asia, serving as a common ground for key players in the gems and jewelry supply chain to gather, network, exhibit, source, and trade, with the annual trade volume accounting to more than 60 million dollars.
Besides Thai artisans’ intricate craftsmanship, innovative designs, and manufacturing technology, the fair showcases a large collection of gemstones, pearls, diamonds, gold jewelry, fine jewelry, silver jewelry, costume & fashion jewelry, display & packaging, jewelry parts, equipment & tools, and machinery in 2,000+ booths from more than 1,000 companies from around the world. With 15,188 buyers and visitors on-site, the fair helped conclude 338 deals out of business matching sessions with 81% success rate, and secure 2.1 billion baht (60m USD) of purchase orders in 2019.
After three decades of organising physical fairs, Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair has spinned off into two separate entities covering both physical and online virtual fairs. The virtual fair acts as the window to the physical fair, allowing visitors from across the globe to have the first glance of the showcases and the products prior to the offline fair, while getting indulged in several online services such as live flash sales, one-on-one business matching, and trade negotiations through the fair’s live chat and video conferencing functions.
